One of my first days in London I made it over to Print House in Dalston and caught this fab show from Arran Gregory in their gallery space.
This incredible installation Thrown to the Wind by Chinese artist Wang Zhiyuan reminded me of a recent detergent-bottle art piece that popped up on Berry St just north of my place while I was in Sydney over Christmas.
Yesterday I headed to Chelsea to check out some galleries, one of the top picks was Jennifer Bartlett’s piece Recitative, which was displayed at The Pace Gallery. Dealing with repetition, structure and the rhythm that can be created by the combining of grid, line, dot and color. It was equally as intriguing close-up (look and see if you can find the penciled numbers under the paint) as it was when experienced as a controlled constellation.

We had the two beautiful reps from Webber Represents in at work today showing us their newest work. They’re one of my favorite photo rep agencies, here are some highlights from my favorite artist on their roster, Lacey.
I stumbled on these mesmerizing photos a few months ago and have just now re-discovered them. They’re all taken from underneath lit billboards - they look like space ships! The photographer is Slovakian born Branislav Kropilak.
Love this studio belonging to British artist Lisa Congdon. Her website is full of beautiful work too.
Some really delicate, beautiful screenprints from artist Sean Morrissey. He’s currently completing the MFA program at The University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His website is here.
This past week I was working at the Pulse Contemporary Art Fair in New York at Pier 40. I was assisting with the installation of Gary Carsley’s work, who was my Honors professor at COFA last year. Gary is kind of amazing. He shows with Margaret Thatcher in New York.
